Hormones: These are the chemical substances, which coordinate and control

 the activities of living organisms.

Hypothalamus: It present in brain, It regulate the secretion of hormones for

 Pituitary gland.

Pituitary gland: It present in base of brain. It is known as mastergland. It

 control the functioning and secretions of other gland. It secretes

 (i) Growth Hormone. (ii) Trophic hormone

 (iii) Oxytocin hormone (regulate ejection of milk in females).

Thyroid gland: Present just below the neck, It secretes thyroxine hormone. It

 regulate fats, proteins etc.

Adrenal gland: These are two, located on either side of kidney. It secrete Adren

 and corticold hormones, adrenal regulate blood pressure, heart beat,

 breathing rate

Pancreas: Present Just below the stomach.

 1. Insulin → lower the blood glucose level.

 2. Glucagon → which increases the blood glucose level.

Oestrogen: It is responsible for development of female sex organs etc.

 Plant harmones.

1. Auxin: Promotes cell elongation and division. It help in root formation.

2. Gibberellins: It help in growth of the stem and flower.

3. Cytokinins: It promote cell division and delay ageing in leaves. It also help the stomata.

4. Abscisic acid: It is a growth inhibitor hormones. It causes dormancy of seeds, wilting of leaves.

Endocrine gland: These are ductless gland which form a group of tissues or cells in order to act at target organ.

It consists, Pituitary grand, Thyroid gland, Pancreas etc.
